Since the 1980s, Alfred Steffen has photographed figures from the worlds of culture, music, and society, including Prince and Giorgio Armani.
His work also includes documentary projects such as Portrait of a Generation – The Love Parade Family, alongside personal animal portraits that focus on the direct encounter between photographer and subject.
His photography is shaped by close observation of people, animals, and the moment of taking a photograph.
Today, Alfred Steffen releases selected photographs from his analogue archive as limited fine-art editions. Each print is signed, numbered, and available to collectors worldwide.
